Based in Miramar and serving Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, Guiding Light Home Care connects individuals and families with qualified independent healthcare professionals and coordinates compassionate non-medical household and companion support based on each client’s needs.

Through our Nurse Registry, we refer qualified Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides for appropriate in-home services.

We also provide registered Homemaker and Companion Services to support household routines, companionship, social engagement and community participation.

Personal Care Support

Companion Services

Referrals of qualified independent Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for requested nursing services within their lawful scope.

Referrals of qualified independent Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides for permitted assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility and other activities of daily living.

Conversation, social engagement, recreational activities, reminders, accompaniment and general safety awareness and observation.

Homemaker Services

Non-medical light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, linen changes, grocery shopping, errands and routine household assistance.

We take time to understand each client’s needs, daily routine, preferences, schedule and family circumstances. Depending on the services requested, we may coordinate a referral through our Florida-licensed Nurse Registry or arrange appropriate non-medical Homemaker and Companion Services.

Our goal is to help individuals maintain dignity, comfort, independence and meaningful connections while giving families a dependable source of information and support.

Homemaker Services do not include nursing services, medication administration or hands-on personal care.

Companion Services are non-medical and do not include nursing, therapy, medical treatment or hands-on personal care.

LightAI Care Technology

LightAI Care is Guiding Light Home Care’s optional technology-supported care-intelligence service. It is designed to provide an additional layer of awareness between scheduled visits by helping identify supported care-related events, changing patterns and situations that may warrant follow-up.

LightAI Care uses camera-free, audio-based technology designed for senior-care environments. Information is securely processed through the technology platform and organized into notifications and trends that may support more informed communication and care coordination.

LightAI Care supplements human care. It does not replace caregivers, nurses, medical advice, emergency services or direct human observation.
